Recently I decided I wanted to rebuild my table saw workstation. I wanted to change it to something a lot smaller and would use it’s space more efficiently. Here is what I came up with.

Nice project, and never hurts when you can get more storage too.

I like your idea and have been thinking of building a similar cabinet for my saw. One thought for you to consider. You said you need a deflector because the dust just comes back out the top. You have a port already in the back for vacuuming out the dust..”occasionally.” I think if you hook your vacuum up and run it while sawing that you will solve your problem of dust out the top.

Thanks for the input Dan. After using it fair bit, I did try it with a shop vac hose in the port and it did help with the dust coming out of the top but now it comes out of the opening in the front where blade tilt/raising handle is located, will still work at it and find ways to fix it.
Have your say...
