I have been around woodworking since I was a child. My dad did custom windows and doors as well as refinishing furniture for museums as well as for the antique store my parents owned.I worked full time for a major corporation for years and had a hobby restoring old houses of my own and doing some furniture and trim projects for others.I collected many tools during that time planning for the day when I retired so that I could do more woodworking.I now am building cedar chests to sell also some other projects are in the works that I plan to market.i have met many woodworkers along the way that are very talented in different areas. One notable person is my friend Keith Clark in Dubuque Iowa who owns Dubuque Clamp Works. there are so many others to thank. One can never stop learning. Looked at your projects. Functional, with character! Like that you are doing restoration of pieces. eg. the sideboard. I also appreciate that you are taking old materials and reporposing them. And it appears you have found a home for the recycled pieces. Rehabbing your old house takes more time and energy as well as finding new uses for old wood. Hope it brings you pleasure.

The Japanse have a word for bringing old and new together. It is Wabi-Sabi.

I have been looking for ways to creatively do what you are doing. Thanks for your inspiration.

I’ve found that hearts are not in current sales market. LOL

Looking forward to your future creations!
