Waterstone advice needed
I have several waterstones I use for general sharpening. I keep them in a container in water so they are ready wen I need them. I notice when I take them out to use they have a sort of slimy coating that I have to clean off before use. I thought m...

Pleased to know that there are real people out there. Thanks for all the “welcome aboard” comments. With luck I may be able to add something productive to the mix. Found out about the site while talking with a woodworker in Sydney, Nove Scotia – was on a cruise & this was a port stop. While talking with the local woodworker a fellow passenger on the cruise told me of the site & invited me to join. Don’t know his name but he is also a member.
