Cherry, Maple or Other? - 10 replies

Bought a couple hundred bf from a cabinet maker retiring…paid $2/bf for 10’ lengths anywhere from 8-12” widths…I cut and planed some cut offs and most of the 4/4 appears to be cherry, but not black cherry…Could some of this be maple or something else? Any thoughts? Thanks for any input!

Looks like Grizzly Tools Just Got More Expensive - 11 replies

Based on the updated pricing on their website, it appears that most of Grizzly’s items have gone up ~20-30% due to Trumps tariffs going into effect. But even if the price didn’t deter you, they still have less than half of their lineup in stock…This has got to really gut into their sales numbers i would imagine.
