Old or Newer? - 6 replies I was looking to get a large band saw, something with at least 12” cut capacity. Jet 20" $1600? - 6 replies I have been looking at a Jet JWBS 20 3hp 1ph bandsaw. It was new in 1995. It is supposedly in good working order, “lightly used”, except for some rust on the bottom door and a broken latch on it. He is asking $1600. I am thinking that is a little high. What would be a fair price and a great deal price on the saw? |

Grizzly 1018 jointer - 10 replies I am looking to get a jointer. I saw on craigslist a grizzly 1018 8” jointer with a movable base. It was described to be in very good condition and 10 years old. They are asking $800 OBO. Is that a reasonable asking price? It seemed a bit high to me. |

Saw Blades - 6 replies I live in northeast Ohio. Is there a location that sharpens 10” saw blades. I have about 6 Blades that need it to bring back to life. If its not too expensive, one or two might need some teeth replaced. |

Grizzly 1023z - 8 replies I am looking to buy a grizzly 1023z tomorrow. He was asking $750 but agreed to sell at $550. He is including blades, extention table, upgraded rip fence. The year of manufacturer is 1996. Does this sound like a good buy and what should be checked? Thanks! |
