This is a friendship gloat. A friend of quite a few years had to move to a smaller place and was downsizing
because he did not have room and did not want to store items. Most of his tools were from his father
were duplicates of what I had, but he had a rusty Stanley Bailey #5 and a 10” Greenlee drawknife that
I did not have. He wanted to give them to me, but I insisted on paying at least $15 for them, do not
know what the market value is on them, but they should clean up very well.
The first picture shows the worst of the rust and the 2cnd and 3rd show that it is a Bailey #5 and you
can barely read the Greenlee brand through the rust. Both the hand plane blade and the drawknife
will need some sharpening and adjusting, but both should be good users. The Stanley Bailey brand is
familiar to almost everyone, and Greenlee used to make all sorts of premium woodworking tools and
machinery.
I will post more pictures when they are cleaned up, thank you for looking.

Gus,
FYI:
I had trouble getting directly to you from the email post on this blog. Went to your homepage and came over this way.
Good luck on rehabbing the great gifts you got.
