Bandsaw Feather board and rip fence

Some of you may have seen Andrew Klein’s bandsaw feather board, rip fence device.

He partnered with Mag-Switch to offer a kit to build his design. The video is here:

My kit came the other day and I thought I would throw it together. Since I have too many projects at the moment, I simply used a printer to print the two parts:

I cleaned up the parts a bit:

Inserted the bearings:

The bolts to join the sections:

And the Mag-Switch elements:

Assembly time was about fifteen minutes and the end result is a great help at the bandsaw:

This is a cheap PLA print and I will likely print it again using ABS, but for now it works and will be handy to have around for a number of uses.
