September 2015. I lay in the hospital fighting septic shock after gall bladder surgery. It had gone un-diagnosed for at least 3 years according to the surgeon. I gained 75 pounds during that time and I was basically dying where I sat. Long story short, I have lost 65 and I feel like a person who was in a wheel chair for 3 years and now I can walk. Amazing what I took for granted. Even though I am on disability with 2 artificial hips and chronic gout, I have decided to create a job for myself. Cattle farmer and lumberjack. People that know me know how funny this is. For 57 years I thought grass was to be mowed or hit golf balls off of and trees were for shade. I have 2 calves now that I will breed next spring. Funny and amazing.Creating a new life, even with 2 artificial hips, at 58 is a trip.
