I started working with wood about 1 year ago when my wife and I bought our first house and I have been hooked ever since. I have always enjoyed building things however I had primarily woorked with metal until now. I also enjoy the outdoors and try to spend as much time camping, hunting and fishing as possible.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hi Glen,

Thanks for the welcome, always good to meet someone from your neck of the woods. I’m heading out to NM in october for a carving event, and so far your the first woodworker I’ve met in the area.
Anyway, cool nice work on your recent project, looks like something I’d want in my place.
