In answer to mcoyfrog, I own an '84 Honda GL-1200 Goldwing Aspencade and a '79 CB-750-K. The 750 is retired at the moment. I'm in the process of building a trike. Due to medical issues the 'wing doesn't get as much riding time as I'd like.
As for food, I both eat and cool and have had one of my original recipes published. "Pork tenderloin in confetti". It's a chinese influenced recipe involving a number of colorful ingredients, hence the name. I created it to celebrate a wedding in the family. When I was growing uo, I loved spicy food but my parents like things kinda bland. Mom said "if you don't like how it's prepared, cook your own." As soon as I was tall enough to see over the stove I started to do just that. The wife and I share the cooking these days.

It's always nice to welcome a new Canadian member of Lumberjocks. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I have. It took me a long while to get my feet wet and find my way around. You seem to be much more computer literate than I am. Looking forward to your posts.

    Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ's as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

    Hi guys.

Thanks for the pointers on the site and the continuing welcomes.
As for this place being addictive, where do I stick the needle? :)

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

    God Bless

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get - or give - advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it's best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

    Please enjoy your membership.
