I decided to go ahead and use the 7” woodworking vise as the end vise. I mortised it into the side all with a chisel and hammer. Next is the chop and dog holes. So then I can use it to prepare the legs which are already cut roughly to size.

Great job! Looking sharp, the chisels that is! Ok, the bench too.
Now that you know what you’re doing…..Please install mine! Oh, can you build the bench also? That’s another thing I haven’t gotten to yet!
