First I’d like to say that I LOVE Tom Waits. You may have noticed my signature, this is where it’s from. On some points of this I can relate. My shop is in a bit of a ghetto neighborhood and I get a lot of looks from people around there. I walk down the alley, open the garage door, duck under it and the door goes back down. I’m sure a few in the neighborhood wonder the same thing… What’s he building in there?.... Enjoy the video. It is strange, kinda creepy and if anyone can appreciate it, it is us shop dwelling, dust breathers…

Yes, I can appreciate it but it still creeps me out.
Now, what ARE you building in there Ben?

Love Tom Waits….I was just thinking a few days ago about using this track on my recent project video post – but the youtube police really don’t like it….....

Indeed we are often hermit like as we work the wood. Most of us work alone. Truth be told, we prefer it that way. I don’t know who Tom Wait is, but I can say that I was strangely compelled to don my butchers apron and grab my favorite hack-saw. But that’s a story for another day.

Weird video, my guess is he is building a coffin for the ex wife, all the mail is wood
magazine notices saying his subscription is about to expire.
