My new shop after moving back to Texas. It’s all steel construction welded on site. Insulated walls and roof. Dimensions are 36×40 on concrete with 12’ lean to’s on each long side. Some friends helped cover the walls with 3/8 alder. Before I moved in with the equipment we had a barn dance for friends and family.

Well, I’m definitely and without any question whatsoever jealous as all get out. A really great place to make some sawdust!

+1

I really like the covered carports on each side. Great use of space. May have to add those to my plans.

Thanks for sharing and Congratulations on your new shop. Great to hear of ones return to the Lone Star State.

Fantastic! My wife and I watch Fixer Upper, with the Gaines in Waco remodeling old homes. I am ready to move—I want enough land to have a nice big outbuilding for a shop. My wife doesn’t say “We are not moving to Texas”, which is what I would expect. She really loves the work Chip and Joanna do. But we have kids and grand kids here, so the entire family has to be willing to move …

In the meantime, I can continue to dream!
