I had written an extensive introduction which was wiped out as I attempted to upload a phot, so I'll come back to this later. I do want to mention I am currently working as a woodworking assistant but will be leaving my employer as his business is faltering, so if anyone knows of a woodworker looking for a passionate 38 year old married man with entry level woodworking skills to take on as an apprentice please let me know, or else I will have to start a job on February 2nd for a high end construction company in Manhattan which I really rather not. Thank you.

Hi Everyone,

I was given a Wilton 161072-10 woodworking vise by my ex father in law and wanted to know how the wood blocks mount to the vise. The static jaw is easy enough to figure out since it hase two machine thread holes, however the Dynamic jaw has a countersink on the plate but no machine thread holes. I realize this maybe quite idiotic, but I’ve never had a woodworking vise, so I’m not familiar.
