The truth on bandsaw guides! They don't matter for resawing....apparently - 3 replies

This concept is very intriguing! But when you think about it it makes sense….if you touch your side guide you are not cutting straight with a bandsaw….I still not about to take them off though lol

I’ve heard of hot pipe bending before but never thought to use a curling iron! Check out the project he makes…calls it a through in lay cutting board. I’m going to try it! Looks neat and simple!

Hey Guys,Stockroom Supply just posted this video on their Little Ripper. In the video he takes the guides off, lowers the tension and screws with wheel adjustment…but unbelievably he cuts straight.
