Turning Giant Pecan Bowl #4: Inboard finally

Got just enough off so that it fit inboard. Turned a foot, then re-chucked it to hog out the inside. The measurement is 22 1/2” across at the top….I can’t remember how deep it is. Now it is drying in a trash bag under the bed in our guest room :) When it’s finished losing moisture, I’ll re-chuck it and finish turn it. *could be years.

Dave I want to see the end product. pecan is a wood I can’t find n my area. That little angel sitting in your bowl is just as cute as she can be!

Thanks for your interest fellas’. It will be a while before it can be finish turned. The wall thickness is about 2” drying slowly is going to take some time.
