So sometime there is a need to get a bit inventive with a glue up. This one is from this weekend when I was doing a little modification to a frame and needed consistent pressure along the sides of a frame. Those old anatomy books really did the trick.
Other projects have set me into our workout room to grab some weights or dumbbells. If it works it works

What ever it takes. I have a few book on artistic anatomy from my art school days.
Looks like your very knowledgeable in anatomy.
Looks like something I would do.
I use my plane collection, but those weights will work great.

When in doubt, more clamps. Had one flat sandwich glue up we parked the PU truck on. Creative is good.

Ha, if it works it’s not dumb! When we bought our house, they previous owner left one of those home gym setups taken apart in the garage attic, and the weights were in a desk out in the shop, so when I gave the home gym assembly away, I did so with out the weights. So I’ve got a stack of 10 rectangular 20 pound plastic coated weights for stuff like that. And I keep them around for just that reason :-)

Very resourceful BB 8^)
I use a sack of leftover cement, but the best has been to place a set of panels under the 95 lb big dawgs bed. She never noticed and she sleeps a lot, mission accomplished!
