Prior this session I had jointed, glued, jointed, planed & dimensioned same wood that the is in use in our sauna. So I started with sharp edged components, and - made a jig from mdf and routed the slots for the hinges. The jig came out too short, so I had to iteratively move it back and forth until the hinge fell into its place. Yeah. so it didn’t fit… I guess I have nobody else to blame but myself. I was working from tape-measure measurements. I should have made a story(?) stick to check the correct width. So after the trial run, I hand planed 1,5 mm off from the hinge-side, re-did the hinges, and of course also the round-overs.
