Fitting one drawer is a lot more work than you would think. Especially when you only do it once every two years:
Trying to cheat by looking at the previous piece did not help as it had all-wooden drawer boxes:
So it was calculus & trial & re-trial:
I made these rails to isolate the metal slides from wood movement
And at some point I was done with the fabrication:
Now I have to figure out how to resize and crop ”vector images”, find somebody who will do the laser engraving, and after that just oil the drawer fronts. From now on I wont be the one who can eff these up!
