I've been working with wood and developing a shop for 3 or 4 years now. For me, I don't aspire to make a living from it. Woodworking is an enjoyable pastime and hobby, that gives great opportunities for creativity. I love to walk in my shop, and enjoy the greeting of fresh sawdust and fresh cut wood. The aroma reminds me that I'm in a special place.... my personal space. I also love bringing a project to completion, or solving problems with my tools. I often take pictures of completed projects and enjoy the sense of pride it gives.

So far, I've stuck with the basics. I've not tried working with exotic woods, or building beautiful pieces of furniture. That is something I want to do once I develop a stronger skillset.
