Hello everyone!
Ultimate Mobile Clamp & Wood Rack:
I just Moved into my new wood shop and have had stuff all over the place! Clamps and lumber just laying around being tripped on. So I new I was going to build a lumber rack and was going to make a rack for all my clamps. But where was I going to build it in the shop and how big and so on you know the process!!!
So I started looking all over the internet for ideas and it took a few weeks but I found nothing I liked so I started drawing up some plans of my own. After another week or two I was getting what I wanted. I came up with this plan that would be on casters and mobile. A plan that would hold not only my wood but would also hold all my clamps. And when I needed to move it I could and get it out of my way for larger projects.
So this is what I came up with and made a PDF for any of you that might want to make it. I have made a link to the video that I took of me making it for you to watch and help see the steps in a how to.
Check the Video out and tell me what you think! Also a link is on the video info for the PDF if you want it free.

Cool rack, it looks built to last and hold up to abuse. I think I may build one, just a little shorter though. Thanks.

Hey Austin,
What Jason said! I have a similar rack but after 20 years, it has a bit of sag in the middle. Kind of like my belly! I only have four casters. So the first improvement that I will do is add a pair in the middle with the hope that the rack will self correct itself. I love the clamp storage on the back. Boy do I need that!
So I think that I’ll print your PDF and make a quick survey as to how I can modify mine to include your design. It will be a definite improvement over what I already have. Now to figure what to do with all of those cut offs!
