Location: Southwestern Ohio

I have been seriously into woodworking for only 10 years or so. I have much to learn. I focus on furniture and similar projects. I have made an heirloom chest for each of my grandchildren, but have a new grandson that needs one too. Turning is the one thing that I don't do. I will take on any challenge that I am faced with.

I joined Lumberjocks primarily for the information available. I really don't plan to post much, but only gather all the information I can.

I retired in 2012, and was able to set up a nice 24' X 30' shop that houses all my equipment and wood storage.

I also am an avid motorcycle rider. I have accumulated over 250,000 miles in the last fifteen years, have been to every state numerous times, cross-country more times than I can count, including a seven-week trip to Alaska. I am a member of the AMA, and Iron Butt Association, an organization of long distance and endurance riders. Read the our Alaska Blog It may not be pretty, but the whole trip is there.

Another new member here. I have populated my profile and need this post to add a few project photos. I’ll do that shortly after the post is approved, since the message I received states that I need to post first, then add photos.
