« Part 2: 1200sqft Barn Shop Setup ..part 1 Part 3 of Around The Shop.. series Part 4: Space is Clean! Time to get organized! »

Well it’s been a busy and chaotic few years since I last posted about my new shop. Would love to say there has been a massive change and it’s all set up and ready for work but alas that is not the case.

I have been trying to finish my home renovation before playing in here but that is taking much longer than I had originally planned and with the cost of framing lumber at rediculous levels it is basically on hold atm.

So what now? Well time to play of course!

Over the last few years the barn/shop space has become the home for all the random detritus that accumulated during the house build and is a complete S show atm.

That all started to change last week when I finally allowed myself to do something I wanted to do here at the house rather than something I needed to do. It has been far too long since I just had fun with something and it is needed.

Last week I did a bunch of cleaning with much more left to do but I did get enough floor space revealed to get a ladder in and hang some LED shop lights and wire them up.

Much better! Now that I can actually see what I am doing. I can hopefully get this place cleared out and begin the process of organization and setting it all up how I want it and make it functional. Stay tuned folks. Who knows where this is going to lead from here.

Don,. They let me go for reasons of not enough intelligence to be useful.

Yeah Duck,. They put out a surprising amount of light! And at less than $20 each I call it a deal.
