Oak Garbage find Need Ideas
What would you do with this?
Its all 1.5×5.5 red oak.
I don't really know what it was - it was sitting in the garbage pile in front of a church in Toronto.
There is one hinge mortise so it may be a thick jamb?
What should I do with it?
Long pieces are 75"

I'd use it to make shop fixtures or jigs. But I'm not sure if that's what you'd need. Otherwise there might be a lot of boxes in your future.

If you do not know what to do with it, it means you do not need it. I will be driving to Toronto next week, I can (and will show you) what I would do with it
Good find.

lepelerin do you have something to trade?
Thanks for the ideas.
There is not enough for a benchtop so i am not sure about that. Maybe enough for legs and aprons.
Lumber rack is a good idea. Jigs is good to.
