Surfacing a split log on a utility trailer

I had some logs split lengthwise that I want to make tables out of. The pieces are round on one side, and very large, so I was having trouble figuring out how to get the surfaces flat. I ended up using my utility trailer! Check out the video here:

Long story short, I rested bed railings along the top of the trailer and ran my router between the rails. Worked great!
