Hi Lumberjocks,

I have always enjoyed making things with my hands. I have dabbled with woodwork here and there over the years, whether it was making a tool box or the pinewood derby in cub scouts, helping my dad put up a wooden fence, or making a small chair and learning tower for my daughter. My tools were limited to a hammer, drill, jigsaw, circular saw, and belt sander.

In the Spring of 2016, my interest in Woodwork began to grow. My brother started converting his garage into a workshop, with a Table Saw, Miter Saw, Drill Press, Oscillating Spindle Sander, and Scroll Saw. I came across a Table Saw at a garage sale and soon after I purchased a Miter Saw off Craigslist. From there, it took off, as I discovered some local cabinetmakers and lumber yards that were so kind to give me cutoffs and scraps and Craigslist and Estate Sales with full blown woodshops full of tools for sale.

I began to look online for more information and discovered Lumberjocks and here I am.
