I decided to get back into woodworking with something simple. I don’t have much experience or practice with woodworking but I thought I’d do something to go along with the themes of a pirate group I’m part of in Oregon.

This was the start of the wood I chose, a 2×6 that was part of an old fence we had in the back yard, still good.

I cut it up to 12 inches long and used a hole saw to cut two 2” holes three inches to center from each end. The smaller holes are 1 inch in diameter and 1” from each side.

Now to sand it and make it look better before cutting in half length-wise.
