Red Deer, AB
Canada

Just beginning to set up some sort of shop. Its a 22×30 garage. Got a very tiny handful of tools and more ambition than sense most days. Going to be interesting to see how it turns out.The cabinet, mitre saw stand, and outfeed table were all made using my skill saw, glue, and a drill. I had a bunch of exterior plywood left over from the renovation so i used most of that up. Definitely not pretty but serviceable for now. A lot of work ahead of me, but damn me if I’m not having a blast.

If you have a gf or wife, make a lil something for her everynow and again to stay in their good graces. Probably goes without saying.

Sage advice indeed, lol. The wife already has a small list of things she would like me to try and make.

How did you get all those knots in the plywood to appear in such a regular pattern?

Just having a dedicated space makes the rest of who don’t jealous.

Looks like you are off to a great start.

Welcome to LJ’s.

@ timbertailor – Thank you for the welcome :) My wife has been ridiculously understanding about turning the garage into my shop. That kinda scares me!.

@ freddy1962 Thank you.
