Workbench Build #1: Thicknessing with a router.

I needed to straighten some material for my workbench build. Lacking both planer and jointer, I opted for a router sled type of operation. The foundation for the operation is an acacia countertop that I got for the workbench top. An unexpected bonus was that the runners polished the top really smooth and almost glossy. The actual work was done with a 1/4” router with a 3/4” straight bit., on untreated pine 4×4s.
