Actually, I don’t think there CAN be a 2-year waiting list, since they only announce classes one year at a time. The secret is to be on Roy’s mailing list, so that you get the schedule when it first comes out. You get on it by going to his website, woodwrightschool.com. Doing it this way, I’ve always been able to get into the classes that I wanted, assuming I didn’t wait too long to respond. You have to be relatively quick since they do fill up fast. If you like to work with hand tools, though, it’s really worth it since Roy and friends always do a great class and there’s plenty of time for hands-on work and banter.
