Topic tags/keywords: jet jwcs-10 wave washer arbor bracket motor plate resource tip

I bought this tablesaw in 1998. It has worked OK, but I could never fully align the blade with the miter slot. Earlier this winter I decided to totally dismantle the saw and slightly enlarge the trunnion bolt holes so I could move the table top a bit more. All went well, but I think I dismantled a bit too far.

The motor plate is attached to the arbor bracket with a shaft and two wave washers. I took it apart without trouble but cannot get the second wave washer to fit. I am wondering if I have to either heat the motor plate or cool the arbor bracket? I cannot feel any slop with only one wave washer in place, but I sure would like to put it back together as it was intended.

I scanned the parts schematic and parts list into a pdf document. I can email it to you.

Thank you in advance for any help.
