I did a search on this forum, and it seems that there are a few Laguna Revo 18/36 lathe owners here. I am seriously considering one, or possibly a Jet 1640 evs. Input from the Revo 18/36 owners or Jet 1640 evs owners would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Here is another thread that has good info I’ve had mine 8 months and still very satisfied. Here are my only nit-pick things; the spindle lock is spring loaded and you keep it depressed tying up one hand, no remote emergency stop, my index indications don’t line up very well index sequence is fine, just the position display. The set screw in the tailstock came loose twice, pit thread lock on it and now seems fine. I did buy the vacuum adapter from Laguna about $70 and very good quality. -- Bill R |
