The latest Klingspor catalog (2010 No. 125) lists “AZ-Plus” as the latest and greatest abrasive disc material. It’s available in grits from 36 to 220 which covers 80+% of my needs of general sanding. I’m wondering if it is really worth the extra cost. (I primarily use a 6”dia psa disc random orbit). The AZ-Plus is about $0.42 each and their regular stearate Aluminum Oxide discs are about $0.31 each in packs of 50 or $0.26 in rolls of 100.

Anybody have any thoughts or opinions?
