Its been a long time since I have posted anything but I though I mind as well post pictures of the desk I build a couple months ago. Made it from rough sawn red oak and I think it turned out really nicely.

I had some really nice 12 inch wide boards that I used for the top.

All the joints are mortis and tennon. For the mortises I took a forstner bit and drilled out most the material and then took a wide chisel and squared it up. I cut all the tennons on my table saw except for 2 which were double tennons that I cut by hand.

Just noticed that In the second pic there is a drip of stain on the side. I fixed that with a sharp chisel

Beautiful and well made desk! I’m sure this will serve its purpose well for a long time.
