The “Bear arms bear’ ...

This is one of Bob Eigenrauch’s latest chainsaw carvings in white pine. Lots of detailed fur, lots burned color and stained.

I commissioned this piece for a display at the New Valley Forge gun show in Warminster, PA. We did a display showing off our various wildlife carvings and other unique projects.

He actually sold before the show even opened, another vendor bought him. Which is good – as we need the cash flow and it covered the expenses of the show but now I want another one!

We’re looking into designs for more bears and creatures supporting our 2nd amendment rights. There are definitely more bear arms bears in our future!

The bear looks awesome! Maybe you can get the gov. to buy some, border patrol and all ;-)

We have something like 50 logs in inventory in various states – problem is the mills are not accepting any more and the main one we are working with is ironically half shut down they are short staffed. We’re also out of cash and time for the milling projects so it will likely be fall or next summer by the time most of these logs are milled.

I have to get a photo of our main pile of wood, then we have a secondary at a friend’s tree yard. There may be a few more walnut trees coming in not sure yet.

We have to use the slabs we got back a couple months ago but I can’t catch up on the commissions/restorations fast enough at this point.
