I had some free time on Monday and took a few hours to make a quick rolling cabinet for my drill press. I made it entirely of scraps. I was able to incorporate some 1 1/2” thick pieces of an old TV stand I took apart. I used those pieces for the sides. Dados and rabbits made this super solid. I made 2 fixed shelves to hold plastic buns picked up at the home center and a third adjustable shelve. I wanted to mortise out the track to hold the adjustable shelve but forgot to and realized after assembly that I missed this critical step. No big deal – lesson learned!

My drill press was the only item not on wheels and since my one car garage is my shop, I need all the space and maneuverability I can get. My father was a machinest his entire life and as a result I have a couple thousand drill bits. I am in the process of sorting them all out and seperating them to go into the plastic bins.
Happy woodworking!!
