Grampa, grandson & Coca~Cola…....
I see a Norman Rockwell print in the making!
Nice job. I’m sure the little one will enjoy playing with it almost as much as you did making it.

Crowie I will have to measure it the next time I am at my grandson’s house which is 50 miles Southeast of here. I can give you a lot of measurements other than the whole thing so I will take my notebook and tape measure, and my grandson and I will do some measuring. I will also take some more photos at a lower resolution so I can put them on LJ for you to view.

What was your inspiration? Looks just like a HESS station!
Nice job, I’m sure the grandson loved it. What little kid wouldn’t?

joein10asee, I love your sign on name, very, very clever. The Hess does have a connection with the station. My grandson was receiving the annual Hess toy for Christmas so I built this station to help him use his smaller trucks and cars along with the larger Hess units. He loves it and has played with it a great deal.
