I cut a bunch of scrap to size, placed all of the pieces into a box, mixed it up, and started drawing them out one at a time. I used every species I had: Sycamore, Poplar, Padauk, Purpleheart, Rose Marado, Red Palm, Walnut, Cherry, Butternut, Maple, Yellowheart, Larch, White Oak, Wenge, Eucalyptus, Sepele, and Birch. Very neat design and good use of the “extra” pieces. Did you glue the pieces to plywood, and/or are they glued to one another? I can imagine I would make a mess of the assembly!
