My first attempt to make a chair. Took my friends advice to mix wood and metal so i did this study. Legs and backrest supports are made from 10mm dia plain roundbar then secured with concrete nails, seat is made from dungon and narra wood, backrest is narra wood, shoes is from tindalo wood, all hardwoods used are reclaimed and native from my country. Hope you like it. Thanks!

Well done! Looks like a big brother to JayT's wire and metal hand plane family

Thanks a lot. This ones sits on my dining, Right proportion on the seat height and tilt on the backrest gives enough comfort.
Have your say...
