Made from reclaimed wood from some old church pews. Left the bottom of top rough with just a little sanding. The top was the seat of the pew. Nice wide boards to work with. Pews were first installed in 1883 and removed for ADA reasons in 2017. All joints were glued and wooden pegged. Finished with 4 coats of spray lacquer and paste wax.

Wow… Some really nice old pine, great re-use!

Ditto on the reclaimed wood. Oh yes – coffee tables, end tables…..the list goes on and on.
