Cherry TV Stand

After years of my TV on an old toy box and accessories like game systems and DVDs/bluerays strewn about, I had enough. Took far longer than it should have but finished a cherry TV stand. Solid cherry and cherry veneer with wenge inlays. Made a couple of drawers to store the movies and controllers and a single shelf for the kids XBOX. Extra space available for blue ray player on either of the drawer boxes. Had grand plans of dovetail boxes but unfortunately my dovetailing skill level did not match my design aspirations. Hence, mitered boxes. Pretty happy with the final result – thanks for looking!

That’s a very nice looking TV cabinet—I like the overall design of it, and the wenge inlay!

I had to look again when I realized that the drawers are in boxes that do not extend to the cabinet top. Picture #4 really shows it well. Creative and interesting design that works very well!!

That’s really great looking and the wenge inlays really set it off.

Very attractive piece.
I see my cable box on top of one draw and the Blue Ray on top of the other.
In the middle, some sort of vase thingy….....that can be my wife’s idea.
