This is a frame I made for a bulletin board.

The frame is large, about 48” wide x 32” tall, 1” thick.

The joints are half lapped with the edges protruding and “pillowed” with a combination of a block plane, files, and sandpaper. The bulletin board is 3/8” thick solid cork glued to 1/4” plywood, then wrapped with fabric.

Finish is Waterlox.

Thanks for looking!

That looks a lot better then the normal cork backing. How is it holding up?

Thanks Mat. Very well so far. But it’s not been used too much yet.
