Saw something like this made of standard 2×4 and thought why not make it out of some of the scraps I have laying around the shop. Walnut, maple, red oak. Framed by cherry. Natural Danish on all of it. Might chage things up a little on the next one.

Beautiful flag. You put those end grain scraps in very good order. Clours are match very well.

That is an awesome idea. Love how you utilized the natural colors of the woods rather than having to pull something out with dyes or stains.
