Miter Saw Cabinet

I got tired of having to heft my miter saw around and set up axillary supports any time I needed to use it. So I took some time out to make a Miter Saw Cabinet with folding support wings. If I remember right I used the Popular Woodworking plan as a base and added the drawers since I always need more drawers in the shop. Made out of Maple Ply, Alder for drawers and some Cherry and Red Oak that I had laying around. There’s a small shop vac in the bottom that’s hooked up to the saw and comes on when the saw is started.

are those leveling feet under the platform of the saw? do you use that to adjust the height so that it matches the “wings”?

Very nice. Always enjoy making a project that makes working int the shop more enjoyable.
Well done.

Stellar job on the miter saw cabinet…...Very nicely built, and it should do the trick…I like the mixture of woods you used…..Slick…...If we had a thumbs up icon, I’d throw you one, so I’ll just have to say 2 thumbs up…...

Thanks all for your kind comments.

Matt – Yes those are 3/8” bolts used for leveling the platform to the wings. The saw is bolted to the platform.
