So I had a #5 and a 60 1/2. Then all of a sudden I picked up a crapload of them in one sitting.
So I need a safe place to put them. I used cypress scraps and just glued the runners in. No finish. Not much to it.
I did use a biscuit joiner on the top, bottom and sides. Just bought it off craigslist and never used one before so I figured this project was a good start.
Thanks

Nice job. Only one problem—you didn’t allow enough room for expansion—now you’ll have to build more and bigger tills as the addiction grows. :-)
Impressive cleanup job on the planes—some of those were pretty far gone. Good save.

Thanks man. I had a panel glued up that I didn’t use for anything which limited the size and I figured when I get a few more it’ll give me a reason to build another :)
Yeah the #6c and the #5 need a new iron and chip breaker. The others took a whole lot of grinding a lapping, but that’s where my new coarse/extra coarse diamond stones came in.

Nice addition to the shop!
Also, a very decent ‘rust haul’

Thanks man, hard to find a haul like this in Louisiana thant isn’t completely worthless. Got through my brothers father in law who recently passed. I know paid too much but hey, it was the least I could do for the mrs.
