Bandsaw blade working self off - 5 replies

When I went to change out my bandsaw blades today, I noticed that they were stuck to the tire that goes around the wheel and I had to peel it off. I am guessing they got heated up at some point in time, guess that’s what you get when you let someone use your bandsaw :). I can’t get the new blade to stay on, I will have it under tension and set...

Lathe question... - 8 replies

I am looking at getting into wood turning and have some questions about lathes. I think I will mostly be doing small stuff such as pens, duck calls, small bowls and such. Mostly small stuff, not table legs. I think when things are all said and done the price between the 2 should...

drums for oscillating sander - 1 reply

I got a great deal on a craftsman oscillating spindle sander (model 113.225906). It only came with a 2” drum. I would like to pick up some more, the drums are 4 ½ in height and have an ID of ½”. Sears carries some but I would like to get a set rather then buy everything separate. I looked at Amazon, Rockler and Woodcraft, but didn’t see any....
