no previous part Part 1 of Bench series Part 2: Started »

While I was milling the components it took me a few months to decide on suppliers for the leg vise screw and I found one on e-bay and I have to say for the price and quality I was completely blown away. You have to check it out. See (bricklicken)
Again I can’t say enough about the workmanship, it is very smooth

The leg guide was another problem to resolve. The age old design of the parallel guide didn’t appeal to me, didn’t want to bend over. Looked at a rod design but it looked like the alignment would have to be dead on. I even looked at a ratchet design that I sampled. Just didn’t like the action. Then I decided on the Benchcraft crisscross.

Do you have a link to the screw you bought? I checked ebay for “bricklicken” but go no results.

My apologies the seller is brickclicken, I just looked for him a few months ago and he still was selling this. I looked again this evening and can’t find him. Maybe you will need to check randomly to see if he is selling again.

My mistake on the spelling. The seller on eBay is brickclickin. I just looked at his items for sale list and he is not currently offering the bench screw. If you follow him maybe you can ask when he will have it available again.

Have your say...
